Thank you, Maria!

Maria Kindberg joined The Capacity Lab as Project Lead in July 2025, and has played a key role in advancing its mission to strengthen nonprofit organizations throughout Chautauqua County.

During her tenure, Maria engaged with nonprofit leaders across the county to better understand the challenges and opportunities facing their organizations. She facilitated peer learning opportunities, leadership development programs, and collaborative discussions designed to build organizational capacity and foster stronger connections within the nonprofit sector.

Drawing on her extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, higher education, governance, and community engagement, Maria helped guide The Capacity Lab through an important period of growth and program development. Her contributions have helped lay a strong foundation for the organization's continued work in supporting nonprofit effectiveness and sustainability.

Maria will conclude her contract with The Capacity Lab at the end of June in order to focus on Maria Kindberg Consulting. Through that role, she will continue to provide strategic planning, governance, organizational development, and capacity-building services to nonprofit organizations.

"We are incredibly grateful for Maria's leadership, expertise, and commitment to strengthening the nonprofit community," said Capacity Lab Leadership Team member, Leigh Rovegno. "Her work has made a meaningful impact on organizations throughout Chautauqua County, and we wish her continued success."

Please join us in thanking Maria for her many contributions to The Capacity Lab and to the Chautauqua County nonprofit sector.
